We are Erika and Macarena
We are the founders of La Finquilla Dog Sitter, a home where dogs live together naturally, calmly and safely.
For years we have been dedicated to dog training, canine behavior, functional socialization and emotional well-being.
Our residence is cage-free, fully family-oriented, and focused on creating real and positive experiences for every dog.
OUR HISTORY
It all started with our own dogs and seeing the need for a place where dogs could be at home, without stress, without kennels, and with real, close, and professional treatment.
Along the way we adopted dogs with difficult pasts, lived with reactive dogs, insecure dogs, large dogs, senior dogs and puppies.
That led us to train in behavior, animal welfare, and canine psychology.
Little by little, La Finquilla became a place where dogs can:
• living indoors
• socialize with a balanced pack
• rest in peace • learn
• feel safe
• to receive affection and clear boundaries
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Zero cages. Zero stress. Real coexistence.
Our philosophy is clear:
• The dogs should experience it as if they were in a real house.

• Behavior is worked on naturally, with our balanced pack.

La Finquilla is a spacious, safe and quiet estate in Estepona, where dogs:
• They live together inside the house
• They rest on sofas, beds, and quiet areas
• They go outside in balanced groups
• They live in harmony. There are no kennels, boxes, or enclosed areas.

Erika Reyes
The founder of La Finquilla has cultivated a deep passion for pet care since childhood. Her experience living with animals motivates her to continue her training and acquire additional knowledge to offer exceptional service to her furry guests. Her commitment and dedication ensure that every pet receives the attention and love they deserve.
Macarena Lang
Founder of La Finquilla Dog Sitter, she grew up surrounded by animals, developing a deep love and respect for them from a young age. Today, she is constantly amazed to be able to dedicate each day to her greatest passion: caring for and living with dogs.
Committed to providing the best service, she is constantly developing her skills and regularly updating her knowledge to ensure an exceptional and personalized care experience. She also takes immense pride in her five loyal furry companions, who inspire and support her in this beautiful work.
